A pure expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, showing classic Napa character through cassis, dark plum, red cherry, violet, cedar, and crushed stone.
16 Months in French Oak
The wine spent 16 months in French oak, with 30% new barrels and medium toast, adding depth and savory complexity while supporting the wine’s natural fruit and structure.

Most Napa Cabernet is built around fruit from warmer sites. Ten Degrees takes a different approach, blending fruit from two of Napa Valley's cooler southern Cabernet districts: Coombsville and Oak Knoll District.
Coombsville contributes structure, dark fruit, and a distinctive graphite character from volcanic soils below Mount George, while Oak Knoll District brings lift, red fruit, and aromatic length from its alluvial soils west of the Napa River.
The 2021 vintage's steady growing season, low yields, and small, thick-skinned berries produced concentrated fruit with firm, fine-grained tannins. The two vineyard sources were fermented separately before being assembled after malolactic fermentation and aged for 16 months in French oak.
The finished Cabernet is layered with cassis, dark plum, red cherry, violet, dried herb, cedar, and crushed stone, with a long savory finish. It is approachable now with an hour of air while offering the structure to develop over the next 10 to 15 years.

Winemaking Notes
The Reserve was crafted from three individual estate blocks, all hand-picked and hand-sorted. Malolactic fermentation occurred in French oak barrels, and the wine was aged for 22 months—one-third in new oak and two-thirds in neutral. Final blending was completed two months prior to bottling to ensure harmony, balance, and a refined expression of the estate fruit.

Sourced from a single vineyard in Napa Valley's renowned Oak Knoll District AVA, the VIA Napa 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon highlights the elegance and balance that define one of the valley's coolest growing regions. Cooling marine breezes from nearby San Pablo Bay extend the growing season, allowing the fruit to ripen gradually while preserving vibrant acidity, aromatic complexity, and refined structure. Well-drained gravelly loam soils naturally encourage balanced vine growth and concentrated fruit, resulting in a Cabernet Sauvignon known for its bright character, silky tannins, and exceptional freshness.
The outstanding 2022 growing season combined warm afternoons with cool evenings, creating ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon with remarkable purity and balance. After harvest, the wine was aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, adding subtle layers of cedar and baking spice while allowing the vibrant fruit to remain the focus. Produced in just 100 cases, this limited-production Cabernet offers polished structure, elegant complexity, and the ability to enjoy now with decanting or cellar through 2035 and beyond.

Vineyard & Winemaking
Ten Degrees brings together fruit from two of Napa Valley's cooler southern Cabernet districts: 58% Coombsville and 42% Oak Knoll District.
Coombsville, situated below Mount George on volcanic ash over gravelly loam, contributes structure, dark fruit, and a distinctive graphite edge. Oak Knoll District, on alluvial soils west of the Napa River, brings lift, red fruit, and aromatic length. The two sites are combined to create a Cabernet that balances depth with freshness.
The fruit was hand harvested at night and sorted twice, with each district fermented separately using native yeast and gentle extraction. Punchdowns were gradually reduced through the latter part of fermentation. Following malolactic fermentation, the wine was assembled and aged for 16 months in French oak, 30% new, medium toast. It was bottled without fining or filtration.
Winemaking & Vineyard
Sourced entirely from Perennial Vineyard, this single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon reflects the balance and consistency that define this distinctive Napa Valley site. Careful farming practices allow the fruit to reach optimal ripeness while preserving freshness and varietal character, creating a wine that expresses both richness and precision.
Following harvest, the wine was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels, adding subtle layers of cedar, vanilla, and structure without overshadowing the vineyard's natural fruit expression. The result is a beautifully balanced Cabernet Sauvignon with silky tannins, refined complexity, and a long, elegant finish.
