Stag & Quail 2023 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a limited-production, single-vineyard Cabernet crafted in one of Napa Valley's most celebrated vintages. Known as an under-the-radar producer, Stag & Quail has built a loyal following through exceptional quality, producing tiny quantities of Cabernet Sauvignon from distinctive vineyard sites. Aged for 12 months in French oak, this exclusive release offers remarkable value while supplies last.

Winemaking Notes
The Reserve was crafted from three individual estate blocks, all hand-picked and hand-sorted. Malolactic fermentation occurred in French oak barrels, and the wine was aged for 22 months—one-third in new oak and two-thirds in neutral. Final blending was completed two months prior to bottling to ensure harmony, balance, and a refined expression of the estate fruit.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with a violet edge. The nose opens with layers of dark cherry, black currant, and cassis, accented by hints of dark chocolate, cedar, and crushed violets. On the palate, the wine is rich and full-bodied with beautifully integrated tannins and bright acidity. Flavors of ripe blackberry, graphite, and toasted oak carry through a long, silky finish. An exceptional expression of single-vineyard Napa Cabernet.
