Sapphire’s 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Adagio Vineyard, a single Napa Valley site kept distinct throughout the winemaking process. The focus on one vineyard gives the wine a more defined sense of place and structure.

2019 Vintage
The 2019 vintage has had several additional years to develop since harvest. That extra time brings greater harmony between the fruit, acidity, oak, and tannins.

18 Months in French Oak
The wine spent 18 months in French oak, adding structure, texture, and depth. Extended maturation allows the oak to integrate while keeping the Adagio Vineyard character at the center.

Library Release
This library release was held in cellar rather than released immediately after production. Additional bottle age gives the wine time to develop a more settled, composed expression.

Mature Napa Cabernet
The wine shows dark, brooding fruit, a lifted edge, polished tannins, and a long, composed finish. It offers the depth of Napa Cabernet with the added dimension that comes from time in bottle.
